From its headquarters in Indiestraat in Antwerp, Aprojects is continuing its growth with the opening of a new branch in Istanbul.
Aprojects, which built a new 20,000m2 warehouse in the Port of Antwerp earlier this year, aims to further strengthen their international presence and build a logistics bridge between two continents.
“The opening of our new office is another milestone for our company and at the same time a well-considered choice in our growth strategy,” said Yoeri Torfs, CEO of Aprojects. “Istanbul’s geographical position makes it an ideal central hub for us to provide even better support to our customers from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.”
To get the new branch off to a smooth start, Aprojects also chose a locally experienced team to take care of everything on site. Umut Yüksel, who has already earned his stripes at DB Schenker and DSV, will take the business lead as Managing Director of Aprojects Turkey.
“Our city has an extensive network of transport infrastructure. In addition to our seaport, both the airport and our road and rail network are ideal to provide even better support to Aprojects’ customers.” says Umut Yüksel .
Meanwhile, the new branch is ‘up and running’.
